Melanie Sumrow is the author of Girls Like Her (coming June 2024 from HarperCollins), The Inside Battle, and The Prophet Calls. Before becoming an author, she worked as a lawyer for more than 16 years, with many of her cases involving children and teens. She received her MFA in Writing from Hamline University and lives in Dallas.
